I studied Applied Macroeconomic theory and graduated with a Ph.D from Oxford University in February 2002. Of course, my Ph.D did not lead to any significant advancement in macroeconomic theory. However, I will always remember the years of my Postgraduate studies as the happiest of my life due to the freedom, the trust in ideas and the curiosity for others and for the world that the Ph.D instilled. |
My M.Phil and D.Phil thesis (which you can download in PDF format) centered upon an unifying theme: What are the implications for monetary policy of considering interest rates as a vehicle of information and co-ordination as opposed as the price of money? |
